Jamie Curtis Baker

         All the most important things about me come out through my writing. I’m a husband, a dad, a friend, a son, but above all I am The Writer. It’s what I love, it’s who I am, and I’d die without being able to write. I am married. My wife’s name is also Jamie. She has a 6 year old son, named Dominick who I basically adopted because his father is worthless. We have a dog named Ripley. I write. Anything else you need to know about me you can decipher from my blog posts. My personality is strong, and I don’t worry about what others think. History of Publication: Self-Published novella, 2011. Published as a poet in collection of international writers, 2001.

Hobbies: XBOX, writing, cooking, movies, music, reading, collecting finger skateboards, road trips, Angry Birds, prepping for survival.

Religious Affiliation: None, Atheist.

Favorite Superhero: Superman and Dr. Strange, and although he isn’t technically a superhero, Dr. McNinja.

Goals: Become a best-selling author, move to Chicago, open a bookstore, write a movie script that does fairly well at the box office.Maybe have something autographed by me go for $300-$400 on eBay.

Politic Views: Not really Democratic, Republican, Tea Party, or any other uniformed wing. I pay attention to what people say and do and then vote for the best candidate. Any one who votes a straight ticket gets zero respect from me.

Tattoos: Yes, two of them. Probably add more in the future.

Sports Teams: Die hard Chicago Bulls fan. Have been since I was six thanks to Michael Jordan. I will never turn away from my passion for Bulls basketball. Also a die hard Indianapolis Colts fan. Bled blue through the Harbaugh years. Bled blue through the Manning years. I also root for the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Cubs, although not with any crazed interest. Don’t do Nascar or hockey. Don’t really care about the Olympics either.

Favorite Song: This varies a lot. Right now though it’s Re:Stacks by Bon Iver.

Thing I’m Most Proud Of: Over the last year, I worked really hard to lose 74 pounds of fat and it helped to turn my life around.
